The new IRB 4600 has all the characteristics of ABB robots, such as the highest degree of accuracy, flexibility and control of handling products. Although very compact, ABB IRB 4600 has the highest vertical reach of robots in its class, being small, easy to handle and flexible mounting with floor. Its dimensions are a real advantage because it saves a lot of space and production costs are low in terms of functionality. Although small size and weight ABB IRB 4600 can reach high speeds of operation and can be requested up to 60 kg of payload, which is similar to or even to the expectations from other larger robots. Flexible mounting with floor, tilted, semi-shelf or inverted mounting is very useful when you are simulating the best position for your application.
All versions of the 4600 IRB meet IP67 standard and are built to withstand harsh production environments. The robot is fully agile, with a reasonable energy consumption, making it a more environmentally friendly equipment.
